As I stare at the computer I realize how easily I give up on things. I started this blog in 2009 to follow my resolutions and it looks like I gave it up in July of 2009 after only a few posts. Well here it is 2011 + 1 more kid, new address, and a few more pounds. I seem to always have the same resolutions every year...lose weight, save money. I never accomplish them. Why? What is it about my personality that prevents me from following through? Well like I say every year this is the year to finally reach my goals. 3 kids is definitely the limit! Q and I decided 3 was the magic number. We finally got our girl! Now I can move on to finally losing the baby weight. I don't want Quinn to be 25 and I still have the baby weight. I weighed myself yesterday and the scale said 144. That sounds good but got on this morning and it said 147. Did I really gain 3 pounds overnight? Back to running of course stopped when I got prego but now doing the couch to 5K running plan. I am on week 4 and feel good about it. I should stay positive and be glad that I am doing something 3 days a week. I think I am going to have to add 2 more days to the workout if I want to see results. I know I will never be supermodel thin but I just want to be able to go into my closet and get something off of the hangar and not have to worry about whether it will button or not. Is that too much to ask? I am 33 let's make this the year I finally do what I say I am going to do. Day 1 of being back feels good. Can't wait till tomorrow.

Has it really been 7 months!
Wow..I haven't been on here in 7 months..I was off to a good start and then I discovered facebook!!! Sometimes I swear I wish I were not on it! Busy planning the first birthday party..I hope it goes well..planning to do a lot of it myself! The theme is the number 1 and the letter J for Jackson! Also I am using only primary colors I think it will be cute..Still running and all of the laundry is done! YEA! Usually I am pushing Jackson in the stroller so I alternate 1 min run/ 30 sec walk and then I increase 90 sec run/ 30 sec walk..I feel that is more of a workout than a consistent pace for 30 minutes..who knows??

Feeling Selfish
Well haven't been on all week. Tuesday was a snow/ice day. It was very strange and not expected. It just drizzled a little freezing rain but enough to make the roads very slick. Cemetary road outside of town was shut down. I spent the day lounging and not doing a whole lot of anything. Wednesday back to work and did go for a run/walk in the evening for 35 minutes. I felt a little irked..mom asked if I wanted to go with her to her supper club. I really wanted to go but felt bad since Q had been home since Monday and the baby was sick...throwing up..much better now. I felt really selfish for it but I wanted to go with my mom. I got over it..Today I was also able to go for a 35 minute run/walk. That is 3 days this week that I did a run/ walk. I am planning to run in the St. Pat's Day run downtown this year and want to do the half-marathon in April.

Challenge Commitment
Well it is Day 5 of the new year and today was the first day back to work. The students were good a little chatty but who could blame them they haven't seen their friends in 2 weeks. Hopefully tomorrow will be a little quieter.
I feel really good...after work today I went to the grocery store and planned three suppers for this week and bought stuff to take my lunch. I got on to WW and got some recipes. I also set a goal that for the next 4 weeks I will stick with exercising for at least 5 out of 7 days of the week for 35 minutes. Last night I did 30 minutes of the Jillian Michaels workout on the Wii and tonight I ran/walked for 2.7 miles for 35 miles. It felt good! It was cold at first but I quickly worked up a sweat. Tomorrow night I plan to try the workout that came with my new Pilates ball I got for Christmas. I also plan to take my measurements this week and write them down sometimes the scale can discourage but you could be losing inches. Eating healthy at home can also save money!

Friday Night
I feel good about today...got up and went to work to take down the Christmas decorations before the kiddos come back on Monday...had a chance to run/walk this afternoon. I was able to alternate walking and running 2 min. at a time for 30 minutes.
We went to Rural King tonight...is this what happens when you have 2 kids you go to Rural King on Saturday night instead of going out...we did not spend a lot of unecessary money that was a good thing...Well plan to get up early tomorrow and run/walk :)

New Years
Well here it is the end of the first day of the new year and haven't really accomplished anything towards my resolutions. Well on second thought maybe I have....
I took the ornaments off the tree...we have a real one so Q can take it outside tomorrow. He would have done it today but he had a really bad hangover (his resolution no more drinking...it's not worth it)
We didn't go anywhere so I didn't spend any money...that's a plus
I cleaned the house yesterday because we had a few people over for New Year's...so I feel that the house is organized
I should have gone for a run but Q wasn't feeling up to watching the boys and too cold to take them outside...so I guess I should have done the Jillian Michaels workout on the Wii or even the DVD workout for my new pilates ball, but watched Wall E as a family and it was a cute movie...

Day 1
Okay here it is 1 day until the new year...I have a couple of resolutions I want to keep this year and hopefully blogging about them will help with my willpower.
Resolution 1..Save money
Q and I make decent money so why do I feel that I have to spend every penny every month and not save...I mean I go to Target and spend at least 150 everytime on what...crap. Then when Christmas rolls around I end up giving 85% of it to Goodwill.
Resolution 2..Get organized
I swear I let the laundry pile up in baskets instead of just putting it away right away...it only takes 5-10 minutes to put away...
Resolution 3..Stick with running
I was running regularly before my sisters wedding in 2007 then I got pregnant a second time and I completely stopped..now I am trying to start again. Went today so that is a good start.
